John ""Skip"" Lane, age 77, died peacefully at his home in Aurora, CO on Sunday, June 14, 2020 . John Patrick Homer Lane was born March 17, 1943 in Seattle, Washington.
Skip retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force in 1980 with 20 years of service. After retiring from the Air Force he worked as Supervisor of Accounting for Frontier Airlines and subsequently retired as a Systems Accounting Analyst for the Department of Defense, DFAS Denver, Colorado.
He is survived by his beloved wife Lynda in Aurora, Colorado; his 3 children, son David in Oregon City, Oregon, daughter Susan and son Michael in Portland, Oregon;7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and his sister and brother-in-law Mary and David Wandschneider in Sun City West, Arizona.
An avid golfer, Skip worked part time in the Pro Shop at Fitzsimons Golf Course for many years.
Burial with a small service for family will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a yet to be determined date.
