John F. Lee, 77, died March 17, 2006. He was born August 18, 1928, in the first set of triplets in Omaha, NE. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Antietam during the Korean War, and moved to Denver in 1968. He worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in both Omaha and Denver branches until his retirement in 1983, then at Vectra Bank until 1993. He served as a volunteer for the Platte Canyon Fire Department in Bailey, CO. He married Dorothy Lucille Ray on October 17, 1953. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Michael J. Lee of Denver, Patrick J. (Gail) Lee of Littleton, Mary E. (Robert Nichols) Lee-Nichols of St. Croix Falls, WI; one sister, Margaret Schooler of Lubbock, TX; 6 grandchildren, Colin, Andrea, Jayme, Abigail, Samuel, & Josephine. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 Wednesday, with a rosary at 7:00, at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth. Funeral Mass 10:30 Thursday, Notre Dame Catholic Church.
