John D. Lomax

John is survived by his wife Barbara; sons Richard (Kathleen) and Rob (Janele); granddaughters Leanne, Kara and Jessica; niece Elisabeth Lomax; and nephew Jeffrey Lomax. He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Robert and Louise Lomax, who preceded him in death. John graduated from the University of Oklahoma Law School and spent his working years with several oil and engineering companies. Visitation to be held Sunday, February 28, 2010, from 3 to 5 p.m., at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block to the west of Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado. Graveside Service to be held Monday, March 1, 2010, at 2:30 p.m., at Fort Logan National Cemetery ~ Pavilion ""B"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado. Memorials are being suggested to the Elizabeth Lomax Memorial Presidential Scholarship #458, 1155 Union Circle #311250, Denton, Texas 76203.
