John R. Martinez Jr., passed away on June 6, 2012. Son of the late John R. Martinez and Erminia Stine; Father of Kathy (Jesse) Lucero, Carol Martinez and David Martinez; Grandfather of Steven Martinez, Tara Martinez, Jesse Lucero, Danielle Lucero, Tiffany Lucero, Naomi Martinez, Aliyah Martinez, Ty Martinez and Unique Martinez; Brother of Julie (Joe) Muniz, Delores (Richard) Duran, Ben Martinez, Barbara Montoya, Art Martinez, Frank (Maria) Martinez; Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Julia, Louie, Joe and David Martinez. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 10 AM at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 2361 East 78th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. The burial will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at 12 noon at Jarosa Cemetery in Las Animas, Colorado.
