John Joseph Moyihan

Born 8-15-1913, died 9-1-2008. Born in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late James Moynihan and Helen (O'Connor) Moynihan. Both of his parents were born in Ireland later immigrating to Buffalo and then coming to Denver. John worked and retired from the Denver Air Force Finance Center. Both of John's brothers were priests, the late Fr. Jim Moynihan and the late Fr. Neal Moynihan, S.J. An only sister was the late Mary (Moynihan) Morriss. Also preceded in death by a niece, Sr. John Morriss, O.S.F. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Frank Morriss, Wheat Ridge; a nephew, Gerard Morriss, Englewood; Nieces, Patricia Morriss, Wichita, KS and Mary Ellen (Jeff) Hill, Denver; and a great-nephew, Lee Hill, Denver. Rosary, Friday, 11am, followed by a Funeral Mass, both at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4200 Federal Blvd. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
