John E. Ross

John, 91, of Denver, passed away May 18, 2009. He was born in Acme, WY on September 15, 1917. John is survived by his sons Elmo (Mary) Goddard, Johnny (Adeline) Goddard, & Jerry (Rita) Goddard; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, & 3 great-great-granchildren; his sister, Anne Bond of Union, NE; 6 nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Beatrice; 1 daughter & 2 grandchildren. John retired from Samsonite in 1971. A Public Visitation will be held Monday May 25, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 in the evening at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth, Lakewood A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday May 26, 2009 at 10:00 in the morning, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Shelter ""B"" following services at 11:30 in the morning. Memorials in John's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
