John Arthur Sayers, 73, Passed away February 15, 2013 in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was the father of Sherry (Douglas) Ellerman, Steven (Shawna) Sayers and Tammy (James) Denny; grandfather of Sara (Glenn) McGee, Stacy (Brian) Beasley, Tara (Brandon) Teague, Twyla Tanner; Chrystal (Clint) Hamlett; Jonathon Sayers; Wayne Sayers; Shaley Sayers; Charlie Groce; Chad Groce; Calvin Pyle; and their half-sister Amber Groce; great grandfather of of Taylor and Alexa McGee, Brice, Kean and Gage Beasley, Landon, Hayden and Skyler Teague; and Shawn Hamlett; Colton Hamlett; Kayden Groce; Kamden Groce; Zachary Groce; and brother of Richard and Patty Sayers. He was preceded in death by daughter Vicky Sayers; brother Bobby Sayers; and sisters Carol and Jane Sayers. Funeral Service Thursday, February 28, 11:00 am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel. The Burial Service will take place Friday, March 1, 10:00 am at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Guests should arrive by 9:45 am at Staging Area A.
