John Pearson Shutts

John Pearson Shutts, 46, a resident of Denver, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2009 at his home. John was born in Denver, on February 26, 1963, as the youngest sibling of Joan and Franklin Shutts, Jr. John was a loving, devoted dad, brother and friend. John was a man of integrity with generous heart that touched all those that knew him. He is survived by his daughter Marisa; brothers Mike (Mary), Steve; sister Dianne (Martin) Marlow; and nephews Curtis Prize and Nathan Shutts. John is also survived by numerous cousins and other loving relatives. A visitation for all his family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 from 6-7 PM followed by a Rosary at 7 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (just to the west of Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado 80122. A Funeral Mass will be concelebrated by Monsignor Kenneth Leone and Father John Lager on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 10 AM at Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 South Monaco Parkway, Denver, Colorado 80222, with reception following. Burial follows at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
