John Grover Sicotte died in his home in Parker, Colorado on August 20, 2007. John was born on 1940 in Harvey, Michigan, second to the oldest of seven children. On December 14, 1961, John married Diana June Hicks and from tht marriage had two daughters. John enlisted into the US Army at 17 to serve three years. Following his service in the Army, he began working for the Civil Service (GSA) division of the US Government as a Computer Technician until he retired 37 years later. John loved to fish and visit family and friends. Mostly he loved spending time with his grandchildren, Paula, Shelby, Audrey, Derek, Tommy, Jessica, and JJ. John died from advanced symptoms and subsequent complication of Parkinson's Disease. By his bedside, until his untimely death, he was surrounded by friends and family who stood vigil until his passing. He is survived by his wife, Diana, of 46 years and his two daughters, Brenda and Theresa. He was a cherished and beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend and his spirit will live on through all of those who knew him. The memorial services will be held at Horan & McConaty, located at 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado 80122 at 11am followed by his burial at 1pm located at Ft.
