John Willard Smith

Dad' Dad was born in Sioux City, Iowa in May 1929. Dad met mom in 1949 and they married in 1951. Dad and Mom moved to Colorado in 1956. Dad worked a few different jobs until he found his passion, the restaurant business. Dad started at the bottom and worked his way up and ended up as being the manager of the Denver Drumstick, where he worked for numerous years. When the Drumstick closed, Dad went on to a well-known Dairy store, Dolly Madison. Dad was a supervisor there up until he retired. After retiring, this made more time for his hobbies. Dad was very creative and artistic. Dad loved making Christmas trees for everyone in the family from jewelry and seashells that had been collected from various family members. Dad then went on to making miniature dollhouses and models. Dad, your wit and humor will remain with those of whose lives you have touched forever. We love you Dad!
