John Layton Stott May 7, 1951-December 18, 2017 Survived by wife Mary Kae; daughters Megan & Maureen (Garrett Haney); brothers Paul & Jim; sister Ann (Michael) Rockwood; numerous nieces & nephews. John enjoyed a successful career as a sales manager for medical equipment companies. He enjoyed golf, cooking, good scotch, fine wine and his family. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and his alma mater, the Kansas State Wildcats. Vigil Service Thursday, January 4, 2018, 7:00 PM, Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Funeral Mass Friday, January 5, 2018, 1:30 PM, St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 West Chatfield Ave. Memorial contributions to Kansas State University Alumni Fund or Father Woody's Haven of Hope.
