John Udick

John J. "Joe" Udick, age 72, of Thornton, Colorado passed away on September 5, 2020.

Born November 17, 1947 in Denver, Colorado to Jack and Catherine Udick. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and graduated from Regis College. After 34 years, he retired as a machinist from Sunstrand. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family. After her passing in 2011, he missed his wife terribly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Catherine Udick; his wife, LaVerne Udick, and his sisters, Susan Boyd and Margaret Angliss.

He is survived by his daughters, Johanna (Tim) Weber, Pamela (Jeff) Tarraferro and Sharon (Ed) Trujillo; grandchildren, Stevi Weber, Timothy Weber, Stephani Tarraferro, Crystle Lange, Jesse Adams, Tyffani Adams, and Sarah Trujillo; many great-grandchildren, and his brother, Michael Udick.

Visitation is on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 6-8pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80030. Masks are required while in the mortuary.

Due to limited Covid restrictions, the Funeral Mass will be privately held for family only, with interment to follow at Olinger Highland Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his wife, LaVerne.
