John J. Vigil of Denver entered into eternal life on February 7, 2013. Preceeded in death by his parents, Molly and Paul Vigil. Survived by his wife, Rose; children, Lori, Jolie, John & Danny; seven grandchildren, Courtney, Neen, DJ, Juan, Erik, Nikki & Desi; one great granddaughter, Little Layla; sisters, Liz, Julia, Marcella and brothers, Paul (Jeanne), Andrew (Ruby), Max (Gloria), Ernie, and Pat. John had a heart of gold and positive outlook on life. He served in the United States Marine Corps, Vietnam Era. John married the love of his life, Rose, and had four children. He retired from the United States Postal Service in 2007. John's passion was classic cars. He enjoyed car shows, swap meets, working on his home & yard, dancing and being around family & friends. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed and loved forever. Visitation is Thursday, February 14 from 4:00-8:00PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado. Funeral Service is Friday, February 15 at 9:30AM at the same location. John will be interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area C, on Friday, February 15 at 12:15. Immediately following the interment, the family invites you to join them for the reception at Noah's Event Center, 11885 Bradburn Boulevard, Broomfield, Colorado.
