Loving husband, father and grandfather, will be greatly missed by his wife, Alexandra Elliott, and his daughters, Susan McMahon and Gillian Wright, and grandchildren, Christopher and Selina McMahon, and Sara and Holly Gale. Born in Birmingham, England, March 1934. Grew up in Kent and Hertfordshire. Moved to Birmingham area in 1955 following two years in Royal Air Force. Moved to Liverpool area in 1964. Wife Alexandra Elliott and two children Susan McMahon and Gillian Wright, four grandchildren, Chris and Selina McMahon and Sara and Holly Gale. Relocated to California in 1978, and Colorado in 1985. Became a US Citizen in 1993. Doctor of Philosophy, 1970, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Surgery, University of Liverpool, UK, Bachelor of Science, 1960, Electrical Engineering (2nd class honors, division 1), University of Aston in Birmingham, U.K. Associate Member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Associate Member of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons Member of the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery Member of CTSNET. Board of Faculty of Medicine, University of Liverpool 1975-78. Genesee BioMedical Board of Directors 1994-2012. Colorado Symphony Orchestra Association Trustee. A memorial and tribute will be held at the University of Colorado Medical Center, Anschutz Campus, Tri-Visible Room, Building RC-2 at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012.
