John Scott Zengeler

John Scott Zengeler was born June 6, 1943 in Chicago, IL. On June 9, 2017, he passed away. John was preceded in death by his parents John Zengeler and Joyce Scott his sister Janet Dudash as well as his two sons Scott and Todd Zengeler. He is survived by his loving wife Leola, children Gina Burd [Brian], Arthur McDermott [Sharon], Russell McDermott [Christine], Susan Ashley and niece Andrea O'Connell [Kevin], 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. John attended MM/A School and was a Navy-Stationary Engineer. He worked for the Children's hospital in Aurora and was a member of the Wheat Ridge Historical Society. John loved music, church, carpentry, travel (especially to Mexico), and spending time with his family. A Funeral Service for John will be held at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. on Thursday, June 15, at 8:15 am with interment following at 9:15 AM at Ft. Logan national Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO. Reception information listed below.
