John " Mac" Mclaughlin

John “Mac” McLaughlin passed away on March 3rd in his home.   Born June 11, 1937, in Hazen North Dakota to John and Hertha McLaughlin.

A few short months after graduating High School in 1955, he joined the U.S. Navy.  He proudly served his country, including his service in the Vietnam war, until his retirement the 23 of December 1974.  After his retirement from the U.S. Navy, he began his civil service career at Buckley A.N.G. Base, retiring 1 September 1994.

John is survived by his wife, 4 siblings, 2 Daughters, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one on the way.

He is preceded in death by his son David and 4 of his siblings.

Respects can be paid during The Liturgy of the Word at Horan & McConaty,  11150 East Dartmouth Avenue (at Parker Road) Aurora, Colorado 80014, March 21st 2022 at 10am.

The Committal Ceremony will be held with full honors at Ft Logan National Cemetery, March 22nd 2022 at 11:00am.
