Jolynne Chamberlain Strang

October 9, 1946 — December 9, 2016

Jolynne Chamberlain Strang, was born in Denver, Colorado on October 9, 1946 to Col. Joseph W. Strang and Eleanor V. (Reese) Strang, and passed away December 9, 2016 at age 70. She is survived by her sister Jacqueline Rymill and her husband Richard, nephew Brian Rymill, his wife Michelle, and their children Anna and Allison. She was born an Army brat, graduated High School in Paris, France, and was a graduate of University of Denver. She was a 50 year member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority at DU. Jolynne volunteered and served with the American Red Cross in Vietnam. She established the Vietnam Women's ""Circle of Sisters"" and founded the ""American Civilian Women and the Vietnam Experience"" archives at DU. She retired in 2015 as a Special Education Teacher for Denver Public Schools.
