Jon Buscho, lovingly called Jeb by many, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 57 on June 21, 2022. He died doing what he loved, kayaking and spending time with his beautiful wife Michelle. Jon was born July 13, 1964 in Owatonna, Minnesota. He grew up on a dairy farm which is currently run by his brother Karl. Jon graduated high school and then attended Mankato State University. He graduated 6 short years later with a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Writing. Jon served in the United States Army and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was also a dedicated employee at Lockheed Martin for 25 years.
Jon will be remembered by many for the long and interesting talks he would have with them. Not only a devoted father, Jon was a spiritual man and very involved in his church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a problem solver who enjoyed both building and paddling his kayaks, as well as his passion for motorcycles and playing games with his family.
Jon is survived by his wife, Michelle Buscho; his children, Jamielle Lamson-Buscho, Anastasia Sant, and Nikolai Buscho; his grandchildren, Preston and Jonathan Sant; and his siblings Karl, Kirk, and Jody Buscho.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am July 1 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Myrtle St. in Brighton, CO. Following the funeral will be a luncheon for family and close friends provided by the church Relief Society. Flowers and condolences can be sent to Horan and McConaty Funeral Services at 9998 Grant St. Thornton, CO 80229
