Jon Drew Whitney (64) passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2024, with his family lovingly by his side. Jon was born June 2, 1959, in Tucson, Arizona. Jon spent most of his childhood in Fort Collins, Colorado with his parents, Ryal and M. Virginia (Ginny) Whitney, sister, Lynn, and brother, Starr. Royal, Ginny, and Starr have all preceded Jon in death. At the age of 17 he joined the Millwrights, where he worked for 48 years and was known as a top tier welder and Superintendent.
He married Mo Corcoran on February 2, 2006, and has resided in Denver for the last few decades. He and Mo have worked as Millwrights traveling through the United States, Germany, and Canada. Jon loved baseball(and watching his grandkids play), golf, playing Keno, and playing Snooker with his friends. He was extremely proud of his children! He was very passionate and proud of his Native American family and background (Nightwalker). Jon was an amazing creative artist and loved creating Native American art and jewelry.
He is survived by his wife, Monique (Mo), five children, Caroline Aguilar (Christian), Connie Sanders (Brian), Cache Whitney (Julianna), Liza Fontana, and Jake Gaccetta; six grandchildren, Jordan Padia (30), Jalen Sanders (25), Kobe Sanders (23), Jaden Padia (21), Maddox Whitney (14), Jaxon Whitney (9); and one great-granddaughter, Ava Padia (5).
