Jose Vasquez

Jose, 69, of Thornton, passed December 18, 2013. He served in the US Marine Corps and retired from Packaging Corporation of America after 36 years. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Olivia; children, Antoinnette and Jason; siblings, Enrique Vasquez, Estella Herrere, Santos Centeno, Mary Ortiz, Anita Gallegos, Ernesto Vasquez, Lupe Pena, Belinda Romero and Ricardo Vasquez; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julio and Angela Vasquez; and siblings, Julio Vasquez, Jr., Herminda Contreres, Delia Martinez, and Rene Vasquez. Viewing, Thursday, January 2, 10:00 AM-4:00 PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street in Thornton. Rosary, Thursday, January 2, 7:00 PM and Funeral Mass, Friday, January 3, 11:00 AM both at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 9371 Wigham Street, Thornton. Interment following Funeral Mass, Elmwood Cemetery, 14800 Old Brighton Road, Brighton. The family invites you to join them for a Reception at Holy Cross following the Interment.
