Joseph D. Cicero, age 90 CDR MSC U.S. Navy (RET.)

Joseph was born to Salvatore and Josephina in 1930 in Clifton Heights, PA.  He entered eternal life on May 12, 2021 surrounded by his family.  He leaves behind his wife Kris of 63 years, two sons Glenn and John (Megan), a brother, nieces and a nephew.

Joe was a very proud Italian-American.  A faithful husband, a loving father, brother and friend. He loved his country and was honored to serve in the United States Navy for 28 years.  He continued to work for Blue Cross Blue Shield  and as a freelance Italian translator.  His involvement with Amici Italiano of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and The Knights of Columbus (Buckley AFB)  kept him busy after retirement. Gardening was a passion of his for many years. He enjoyed tending to his many species of flowers and growing his own fresh vegetables.  Spending time with his family was his favorite pass time.

He is preceded in death by his parents Salvatore and Josephina, his oldest son Carl, a brother and sister in law.
