Joseph James Heit

Joseph James Heit, 88, of Denver, passed away Friday, November 2, 2007. He is Survived by his wife, Lucy G. Heit, five daughters, Beverly A. (Dave) Ruble, Deborah A. Muender, Lynn A. Gonzales, Margaret A. (Aurelio) Mireles, and Carol A. (Bob) Jordan; two sons, Brent A. (Jody) Heit and Joseph A. (Sarah) Heit; two sisters, Frances Gruber and Rose Benson; one brother, Edwin Gette; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two sons Donald A. and Richard A. Heit; three brothers, Joseph F., Nicholas, and Alexander Heit. Joseph served in the United States Air force during WWII in England. He also worked for 35 years in the Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007 from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Horan Funeral Home, 11150 East Dartmouth Ave. (Parker Rd.), Aurora, CO 80014. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 1311 Oneida St., Denver, CO 80220. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W. 44th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Co 80033.
