Joseph Leland McReynolds Jr.

Mr. Joseph Leland McReynolds Jr, age 85, passed away on Saturday March 9th, 2019 in Denver, Colorado.

He was born in Amory, Mississippi on July 21, 1933 to Joseph Leland and Dora Dunavant McReynolds.

Joe graduated from the University of Tennessee and is retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers. He lived most of his life in Mobile, Alabama with his wife of 60 years Betty McReynolds who preceded him in death. He was an avid cyclist, ultra-runner and tri-athlete finishing the IRONMAN competition in Hawaii 6 times. Joe enjoyed spending time with close friends and fellow athletes. He was a great father and husband who spent his life taking care of his family under all circumstances. Joe's family and friends will miss him.

Mr. McReynolds is survived by his two children Lee McReynolds (Robin) and Tracy McReynolds.

Private memorial services will be held with immediate family in Colorado at a later date.
