Joseph Merrill

Joseph Stoddard Merrill passed away on October 30, 2022, at the age of 55 at his residence in Parker, Colorado.

Born on April 13, 1967, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Willard and Marjorie Merrill, he was the eldest of 5 children.

Joe graduated from Brigham Young University with a masters degree, followed by earning his certification as a CPA.

He is survived by 3 children: Nathan (Denver, Colorado), Megan (Provo, Utah), and Amanda (Provo, Utah).

Joe was an avid cyclist and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved hiking, skiing, and off-roading, particularly in Moab, Utah.

Joseph was generous and kind, often offering his time and resources to his parents, siblings, children, nieces, and nephews. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had faithfully served a mission to Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 19.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 999 E Tufts Ave, Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. A Visitation will held be from 9:30am-10:30am, with the funeral beginning at 11:00am.

Interment will follow at the Littleton City Cemetery, located at 6155 S Prince St, Littleton, Colorado.
