Joseph W. ""Joe"" Nelson of Wheat Ridge, Colorado passed away at home on April 25, 2017 at the age of 98. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan; six children, Joseph (Joy), Barry (Michelle), Mary Anne (Manuel), David (Kathy), Lorene (David), and Stephen (Laura). He was preceded in death by his son William, his parents George Nelson and Marie Stark, and his brothers Robert and Leo. Joe is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4380 Utica Street, Denver, Colorado. Follow by a reception at the church.
