Joseph Norbert Ortega

Joseph N. Ortega, 78, passed away on December 24, 2017. Joe was a great man! He was kind, loving, generous, spiritual, caring, hard working and funny. The greatest husband, Dad, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa, friend, colleague, and best mashed potato maker. Joe loved people, all people. If you met Joe, you became his friend. He wanted all people to have whatever they needed and would do whatever he could to help. Joe was faithful to God and did God's work all his life including his newest friends. Rest in Peace Joe. You are and will always be terribly missed! LOVE YOU MORE THAN THE SKY!!!!!!!!! A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, 1/2/18 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1985 Miller Street, Lakewood, Colorado. Joseph is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna Y.; and his children Theresa (Ron) McDaniel; Darin (Cathy) Ortega; Scott Joseph Ortega; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
