Joseph ""Joe"" R. Riccardi, Jr.

Joe, 92, of Arvada, Colorado passed away February 25, 2017. Born on August 26, 1924, Joe was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He graduated Manuel High School. Joe was hired by the Denver Fire Department on January 16, 1948 and retired December 31, 1975. He managed Tuxall Uniform Company and retired after 60 years of service. Joe is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Erlene (Murgatroyd) Riccardi; and brother, Paul Riccardi. Beloved father of Sharon ""Sheri"" (Jack) Seawell & Terry Riccardi; grandfather of Kimberley (David) Smalley, Kristi (Scott Braning) Seawell, Lori (Derek Weidenhamer) Seawell, Reece Riccardi & Kenzie Riccardi; great grandfather of Brooke Peoples, Michael Souchek, Devin & Dax Weidenhamer; brother, Raymond Riccardi; and niece, Paula Bock. He will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 beginning at 5:00 to 7:00 PM with Funeral Service held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80003. Interment with Military Honors will be on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area A, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235.
