Joseph M. Strauch

Joseph Michael Strauch, our most beloved Joey, passed away Sunday, September 10th, 2017 surrounded by his family. Joey lived an extraordinary life; a fighter from the start. His love and light never dimmed by his lifelong degenerative muscular disease. Born March 12th, 1990 in Inverness, Florida to parents Michael Strauch and Eileen Peci. He is survived by his parents as well as stepmother Patricia Strauch and stepfather Joseph Peci; older sisters Jennifer Hernandez (married to Cristobal Hernandez, children Brayden and Emalynn), Jacqueline Strauch (engaged to Kirk LeValley), Jessie Mae Samples (daughter Gracie), and younger brother Jarrod Samples (U.S. Navy Corpsman); step brother Michael Peci; step sisters Christie Doria (married to Billy Doria and children), Kayla Chaluvisan (and children), Marissa Enny (married to Rob Enny and children; and numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joey leaves us now to walk alongside his brother in Heaven, Michael Strauch. Joey exuded love like no other. So freely given and widely spread; immeasurable and pure. He takes with him a little piece of us all, our lives forever changed. He leaves behind a most precious legacy of joy, kindness, and incomparable love. As he loved too much, he was loved too much more. A Memorial Service in celebration of his life will be held Friday, September 15th, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Northglenn United Church of Christ (10500 Grant Street Northglenn Colorado 80233) Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation or Children’s Hospital.
