Joseph Seeley Summers

Joseph Seeley Summers, age 67, and resident of Centennial, Colorado, passed away on June 20, 2020. Joe was born on September 7, 1952 in Royse City, Texas to Seeley Summers and Evelyn J. (Zaleski) Summers.

Joe grew up in Royse City, TX with brothers, Jack and Bobby Summers. He played football for Royse City Bulldogs and went to East Texas State University at Commerce. Joe started out as a carpenter and last was employed as Superintendent with Post Properties in Denver, Colorado.

On February 3, 2006, Joe married Veronica (Ronnie) in Centennial, Colorado. Papa Joe had a big heart, was loved by all and loved his seven grandchildren.

Joe is survived by his wife, Ronnie of 14 1\2 yrs.; Son, Cory and wife, Keri Summers and their children, Josie and Jackson of Caddo Mills, Texas; Stepson, Christopher and wife, Cortney Sullivan and daughter, Amelia of Centennial, Colorado; Stepson, Patrick and wife, Nicole Sullivan and children, Jordan, Jace, Presley and Noah of Centennial, Colorado.

Services are on August 7, 2020 at Horan & McConaty at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Davita Dialysis Centers.
