Josephine A. ""JoAnn"" Barton

JoAnn, 93, of Denver, Colorado, passed on September 6, 2017. She was born on October 27, 1923 in Kansas City, Kansas to her late parents George Louis Fisher and Ella May Stewart Fisher. JoAnn is survived by her children, Edwin Gerard (Sheryl) Barton, Jr., William George Barton, Francis Stewart Barton (Diana), Jane Elizabeth (Humberto) Barton, Carolyn Rose Barton, and Lawrence Joseph (Michelle) Barton; grandchildren, Lori Ann Barton, Jennifer Rose (Martin) Madrigal, Sara Christina (Alexander) Clayton, Patrick Joseph Harger, Michael John Harger, Daniel Hunter Garcia, Joseph Reilly Barton, and Logan Lawrence Barton; great-grandchildren, Romeo Andre Madrigal and Kai Alexander Clayton; cousins, Marti and Hugh Downey, and many other loving family members and friends. A Vigil Service & Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 7:00PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Denver, CO 80246. Visitation will be held 1-hour prior. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 10:00AM at Risen Christ Catholic Church, 3060 S. Monaco Pkwy, Denver, CO 80222. A time of continued fellowship and refreshment will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass. Entombment will take place later in the afternoon at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W. 44th Ave. Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Please share memories and condolences with the family below.
