Josephine Jo Brooks

Jo (Mrs. Max) Brooks was born in Chapman, KS, and passed from this life on February 16, 2009. She has lived in Denver since 1940. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Max, and by her daughter, Judi Aitken. Survived by three sons, Gary, Phil, & Woody; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Linafelter, Scott Brooks, Staci Melby, Annie Brooks, Jason Brooks, Michael Brooks, Tyler Brooks, & Katie Aitken; five great-grandchildren, Sara and Ian Melby, Lexi and Grace Linafelter, Ivian Brooks. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, with Funeral Services, 11:00 AM Friday, Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. A memorial is established with the Children's Diabetes Foundation of Denver, 777 Grant St., Ste. 302, Denver, CO 80203.
