Josephine Forsythe

Josephine “Eileen” Forsythe, age 84, passed away peaceful on September 16, 2021, with her family by her side. Eileen was born July 31, 1937, to Edward and Frieda Aspinwall in Star Junction, Pennsylvania. She attended and graduated from Perry Lower Tyrone High School, in Perryopolis, PA. Eileen married her loving husband, Theodore Martin on March 24, 1958.

Eileen enjoyed sewing, quilting, fishing and yard work. She spent time in her more recent years as a devoted secretary at St. Pius X Catholic Church. She will be fondly remembered by her family as “The Best Great Grandma Ever!”

Eileen is survived by her children: Deborah Arlene Ellis (Lawrence R.) and Theodore M. Forsythe (Delsie); her grandchildren: Samantha Erwin, Stephanie Berger, Jacob Forsythe and Brett Forsythe; her great-grandchildren; Jackson Berger, Jordan Berger, Quinn Erwin and Jameson Erwin; and her twin sister, Arlene Lynn.

Eileen is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Forsythe, son, Mark Allen Forsythe, brothers, Bernard Aspinwall and Edward Aspinwall.
