Josephine Erma Krieger, age 84, of Denver went home to be with her Lord Thursday, July 6, 2017 at The Arbors of San Marino. JoErma was born December 15, 1932 in Denver, CO to Joseph and Erma Henshaw. She married the love of her life, Raymond L. Krieger on July 10, 1953, welcoming three daughters as they made their family home in south Denver for the next 58 years. JoErma is preceded in death by Raymond, her parents and a sister, Janet Pearl Johnston. JoErma was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. She held various jobs over her lifetime but being at home, a homemaker and caring for her loved ones was what brought her joy. She was a devout Christian and a birthright member of First Denver Friends Church. JoErmaâs love for reading was a large part of her life, seems there was always a book close at hand or she was reading to her girls and later her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her grace, kindness, sweet spirit and smile. JoErma will be missed by all those who loved and knew her. JoErma is survived by her daughters; Lynnette (David) Krieger-Zook, Cheryl Krieger Specht and Jolene (Jay) Roberts. Grandchildren; Candace (Andrew) Davidson, Justin (Holly) Krieger-Jones, Hannah (Alan) Pommier, Jeremiah Specht, Micah (Ashley) Specht, Kendra (Ryan) Laughlin, Cassandra Zook, Paul (Brittany) Specht, Matthew Roberts and Stephen Zook. Great-Grandchildren: Margaret Josephine Davidson and Gabriel Ray Pommier, and numerous nieces and nephews. Interment, Thurs. July 13, Ft Logan Natâl Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver. Meet at Staging Area âBâ at 1:15pm. Memorial Service to follow at 4pm, Denver Friends Church, 4595 Eliot St., Denver. Meal to follow service. Memorial funds may be sent to Wichita Friends School, 14700 W Kellogg Dr. N, Wichita, KS 67235. Funds to be used for the Childrenâs Library and Discovery Playground.
