Josephine Lombardi

Josephine Lombardi went to heaven on Saturday, February 22, 2025, surrounded by her three children and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John Lombardi., and her granddaughter Angelique Lombardi. She is survived by her children: John (Denise) Lombardi Jr., Carol (Frank) Lombardi-Yantorno, and Darrell (Dolores) Lombardi; grandchildren: Melissa Ellis, Kenny (Angela) Lombardi, Brian (Jamie) Yantorno, and Christine (Rodolfo) Lombardi; great-grandchildren: Alexis, Austin (Kira), Dante (Cassi), Allison, Dino, Isabella, Talia, Santiago (Joelean), Giada, Emilio, and Toby; and great-great-grandchildren: Giovanni, Naliyah, Santiago Jr., and Elio, as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She was the heart of our family, the one who held us all together. Her strength gave us strength. Her courage gave us courage. She had resilience and grace that inspired us all. Her faith in the Lord was strong, and now she is cradled in His arms.

The family will be greeting friends and family at a viewing on Friday, February 28, 2025 beginning at 9:30AM at St. Catherine of Siena, 4200 Federal Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.  The Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:30AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00AM.  Interment will follow at 1:00PM at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge.
