Josephine Mary Woodley

Josephine Mary Woodley, born Dec. 13, 1917, passed away on July 7, 2009 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Walter Woodley, and survived by her children, William Woodley, Susan Woodley, Carol Kimsey & Christine Penton & six grandchildren. Jo lived most of her life in Rolling Hills, CA and also spent time with her family in Colorado. As an animal lover, she advocated for animal rights and cared for many of them as her pets. She also enjoyed gardening and helping those in need. A rosary will be said on her behalf at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd on Sunday at 7PM. Funeral Mass will be said at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 W. Chatfield Ave. on Monday at 10:30AM. A memorial service & burial will take place Saturday, July 18th at 11AM at All Souls Cemetery, Long Beach, CA. Donations may be made to the Maxx Fund or the Humane Society of the United States in memory of Jo Woodley.
