It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph “Joe” A. Fullmer Jr. announce that he lost his battle with Alzheimer’s on March 9, 2021 at the age of 77.
Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Dee; children, Cheryl and Joe (Erin); granddaughters, Jenna and Alyssa; siblings, Marie, Anna and Rita; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary; his daughter, Donna; his sibling Theresa; brother-in-law James, and Tom; and mother and father in-law Martin and Regina Hering.
Joe was born May 12,1943 in New Jersey, moved to Colorado in 1974, Arizona in 1993 and then back to Colorado in 2010. He earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He also attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, Sr. Executive Program, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Joe started his professional career as a forklift truck operator at Manville and had numerous others positions in the company before retiring as Vice President. His professional memberships include the National Council on Industrial Engineering and the Industrial Advisory Board, Texas Tech University.
Joe is an Army Veteran and served in Korea during the Vietnam War. Joe enjoyed golf, travel, fishing, spending time with his family and volunteering for his church. He was proud to be member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and enjoyed service others.

Visitation and recitation of the rosary will be on Tuesday, March 16 at 10:15am at Saint Michael the Archangel, his Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately at 11am.
