Joshua Cosden Annan left this world to be with his brother, Bode Annan and his sister, Tina Annan on October 11, 2017 at 7:00 PM in Denver, Colorado. Josh was born on September 30, 1970 in Aspen, Colorado. He was raised in Aspen and attended the Aspen Grade School. He then went to The Rectory School in Pomfert, Connecticut, Seabury Hall in Maui, Hawaii, Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado and Maui Community College in Maui, Hawaii where he received his GED. Josh was the son of Michael Staley Annan of Davao City, Philippines and Marjorie (Betje) Carlson and Step-Dad Dr. Bruce Carlson of Aspen. Josh Loved to travel and lived in many places including Thailand, Philippines, Australia, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Aspen and finally in Denver. He loved studying ancient cultures. He worked at the Grand Wailea Hotel in Maui as a fine dining waiter and at Kenich in Aspen. Josh worked in the food industry for many years. He enjoyed cooking as a hobby and he loved to ski in Aspen and to surf in Hawaii. He is survived by his nephew Hunter Bode Erlick, his sister Tina Annanâs son; his beloved Aunt Gypsy Graves and cousins Mary Goodman, Keene Graves Louise Church and Kate Gaskill; his step-brothers and sisters, Steve Carlson, Brenda Stockdale Cowperthwaite (Tee), Sarah Carlson, Joe Carlson (Deb) and Anne Cassidy (Coley) and 18 step-nieces and nephews. His is also survived by his very best love and companion, Nancy Fleming. Josh will be missed by all his friends, who were many and his family and will be remembered going to concerts with his friends, which he enjoyed greatly.
