Remembering Joshua
Please don’t sing sad songs for me, forget our grief and fears, for I am in the perfect place, away from pain and tears.
Joshua Edwin Deon Jefferson, 35, transitioned from this life to his eternal home on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. He was the oldest son born to his parents Eric Jefferson and Delores Crutcher Jefferson on January 27, 1987, in Orlando, Florida.
As a toddler the family relocated to Apopka, Florida where he attended Bear Lake Elementary 1992-94. At the divorce of his parents, Josh relocated along with is father and brother to New Jersey. Here he received Jesus at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist Church, Sommerset NJ in 1996.
He spent his adolescent and teen years in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and finally, making Colorado his permanent home with his family, where he attended and graduated from Ponderosa High School 2005. He continued his education at the University of Colorado and received his bachelor’s degree in communications in 2012.
During his time at Ponderosa High School, he met and fell in love with Ashley Marie Linder. They soon became a twosome and to no one’s surprise married after graduation. His most coveted achievement in life was the birth of his two precious sons. First Kingston Reis born in 2010 and Kaemon Kai in 2013. Josh was a proud and doting father completely devoted and undeniably in love with his sons.

After the breakup of their marriage, Josh later met Diana, with whom after some time, entered a loving relationship with her and her children Jada and Jeremiah. They enjoyed many great times together and they became his extended family.
Josh was loving, caring, nurturing, encouraging, considerate, a loyal friend, passionate about his family and those he cared for, and always a gentleman.
