Joyce Finley Bobst passed away after a long battle with Cancer on Saturday November 6th 2010. She was a life long member of the Denver community. She is survived by her son Patrick and wife Hannah Hazard, daughters Danyall Benavides, and Jennifer Hazard Sister Dorothy and her husband Joe Owens, brother George Finley, and grandchildren Makayla, Brayden, Andrew, and Colton and numerous family friends and relatives. Joyce worked for 15 years in the Denver and Aurora public school system focusing on Driver Training and Special Needs Care. To Joyce there was no such thing as Strangers. She was a devout Christian that believed in goodness of all people, and had away of bringing it out. She fought her cancer everyday for the past two years with a loving smile on her face. At no time did she let the illness stop her from reaching out and helping others. She will be remembered for her Love, and Laughter as well as her glowing smile that touched so many. We will have a memorial service Monday November 15th at 6pm and a Burial Mass and service Tuesday November 16th at 10am. Both services will be held at the Montbello Church of Ascension located at 14050 Maxwell Place, Denver Colorado. In lieu of flowers the family asks for Donations to be made in Joyce's name to the American Cancer Society. She was loved by many and will be severely missed by all.
