Joyce Ramona McKowen

Joyce, 90, of Denver, Colorado, passed on August 9, 2017. Joyce had a deep love for her family and was very supportive of their many individual endeavors. She will be dearly missed. Joyce is survived by her children, Mike (Nancy) McKowen, John McKowen, Doug (Kim) McKowen, Louise (Dub) Lowe, Joan (Randy) Abramson, Erin Sjodin, Laura (Craig) Loomis; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 1 sister-in-law, and 1 brother-in-law. She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Grayce Carlson; her former spouse, Robert McKowen; and her siblings, James Carlson, John Carlson, and Jean Harris. A Memorial Service will be held for Joyce on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 10:00AM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, CO 80014. A Reception will be held immediately following at the Willow Ridge Clubhouse, 12900 E. Pacific Circle, Aurora, CO 80014.
