Joyce Ola Stringer

Joyce Ola Stringer was born on May 27, 1935 and passed away on January 30, 2016. Joyce was born May 27, 1935 and married Joe Woody Stringer May 5, 1956 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Joyce was a strong, independent woman who loved life, her family, and her dogs. She enjoyed cooking and baking, good food, collecting dolls, and doing crafts of all kinds. Joyce lived a natural life and introduced countless people to the benefits of juicing and healthy snacking. A retired Keebler elf, Joyce was active in the Bakers (BC&T) union. She raised all her kids to work hard, believe in themselves, and treat everyone they met with respect and dignity. Joyce is survived by her husband Joe Stringer, Arvada, CO; children, LaJuana (Paul) Duff, Galena MO, Martin (Linda) Stringer Indialantic, FL, Debra Hiestand Yuma CO, Linda (Tom) Mitchell Arvada CO, RoseAnne Stringer Evergreen CO, brother Curtis (Cindy) Cazzell, Crane, MO, sister Aleen (Neal) Webb Pampa, TX, sister in law Fern Cazzell Springfield MO; 14 grandchildren, and 26 great grand children. Joyce is also survived by her in-laws and numerous extended family members. Joyce is preceded in death by her father Denton Daniel Cazzell, mother Rosa McWhirt, step father Roy McWhirt, brother Kenneth Cazzell, son-in-Law Leonard Hiestand, great granddaughter Chelsae Delsordo. There will be a Visitation on Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 9-10 AM at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada. The Funeral Service will follow at 10 AM at the same location. The family invites you to join them for a reception at the Arvada Chapel from 11-12 PM. Burial will follow at the Arvada Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
