Joyce Juanette Terry

At peace, and with her family, Joyce Terry, 90, passed away August 7, 2018. She was born July 28, 1928 in Crested Butte, Colorado to Elizabeth and Beldon Bush. Joyce is survived by her children, Charlene Terry, Carla Sorrell (Larry), Connie Dettmer (Dave), Dennis Terry (Paula), Mark Terry and Lesa Barringer (Mark), 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Ervin, son Dwayne, her parents and four siblings.

At an early age, Joyce and her family moved to the western slope where she met Ervin in school. She was married to her beloved husband for 45 years. Joyce enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She always looked forward to her monthly get-togethers with her friends. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will take place on August 17, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the services immediately following at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home (11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado 80014), 303-745-4418. An online guest register is available below.

Joyce will be laid to rest on August 18, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Rosebud Cemetery (3420 Grand Ave. Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81601).

If attending the graveside services in Glenwood Springs, please allow up to at least an hour extra of travel time due to construction on I-70.
