Judie Ann Cagle

Judie Cagle passed away December 10, after a long illness. Judie was born on 4/24/42 to Carl and Phyllis Smith in Rhinelander, WI. Judie was a loving and giving person with all those who were her family and many who were not. She leaves a legacy of kindness, compassion, and generosity. She is missed by all those who knew her. After completing studies, Judie joined the travel industry, working for the airlines for more than 30 years. Judie enjoyed taking her close friends and family on many exciting trips abroad. Judie especially loved taking her parents to places they had only dreamed of. It was always Judie's passion to be able to introduce her friends and family to foreign cultures and diverse and interesting ways of life. Judie is survived by her loving son, Sean Cagle; sister, Janet Dunham of Hamilton, MT; brother, Jack Smith, and his wife, Bobbie, of Rhinelander, WI; brother, Larry Smith, of Marshfield, WI; and 12 nieces and nephews who love her dearly. Judie also is survived by her long-time companion, Randy Ortwein. She will be greeted in Heaven by her mom, dad, former husband, Paul, and sister-in-law, Velma. Visitation: Monday, December 14, 5:00 to 7:00 pm, at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, CO, 80014. Mass will be held on December 15 at 10:00 am, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Aurora; interment following at Fairmount Cemetery, 480 S. Quebec Street, Denver.
