In Loving Memory: Judith Deanne Fulton, 75, May 17, 1948 - August 20, 2023
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Judy Fulton (Brown), who peacefully left us on August 20, 2023, after a courageous battle with Frontotemporal Dementia. Judy was a breast cancer survivor of 24 years. Preceded in death by her adoring parents and youngest daughter, Emily Balog, Judy now joins them in a peaceful embrace. Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Winston Fulton, and her oldest daughter, Sarah Miklich. Judy and Winston had recently moved to Denver, CO to be closer to Sarah.
Judy was born on May 17, 1948 in Chicago, IL to her late parents, Rosemary Brown (Wells) and Dee Vance Brown, both of whom adored their only child. Judy grew up in Dayton, OH where she thrived. She attended Chaminade Julienne High School and pursued her college education at the University of Dayton. Her love of learning and intellectual curiosity continued throughout her life. She later earned her Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Central Florida and continued her commitment to shaping young minds. Her impact as a teacher extended beyond the classroom as she inspired countless individuals to reach for their dreams.
Family was at the core of Judy’s being, and her devotion to her loved ones was unparalleled. Her loving husband, Winston, shared a bond that was a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Through life’s joys and challenges, they stood by each other, creating a beautiful example of companionship. Judy was a most caring mother for her two daughters. Her role as a wife and mother was marked by boundless warmth, unwavering support, and a deep wellspring of love that knew no bounds.
Judy’s vivacious spirit and love for life were contagious. Her passions were as varied as they were vibrant. She found comfort and joy in the world of music, letting the songs weave stories that resonated with her soul. She had an uncanny ability to infuse every moment with laughter and love, making her the life of every party. But perhaps her greatest joy came from the moments spent surrounded by cherished friends and family, creating memories that will remain forever etched in our hearts.
In celebrating Judy’s life, we remember her as a beacon of light, a woman whose presence brought warmth to every encounter. Her departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will continue to inspire us to live with the same zest for life that she embodied.
As we bid farewell to Judy, we hold onto the precious memories we shared and the love she imparted. In the tapestry of our lives, she wove threads of love, laughter, and compassion that will endure. Rest in peace, dear Judy, knowing that your memory lives on in our hearts.
“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
