Judith (Judy) Anne Littman was born in North Platte, Nebraska on April 25, 1943, to Everett and Evelyn Kidd and attended and lived in Elsie, Nebraska until she turned 18. She moved to Denver, Colorado in 1963 to attend a hairdressing academy in Denver and met Larry Littman in late 1964. Judy and Larry were married on Friday, November 13, 1966, at Beth Joseph Synagogue by Rabbi Goldberg. Judy and Larry were inseparable until Larry’s passing in 1999.
Judy briefly worked as a hair stylist, realtor and office administrator for family friend Dr. David Albert and Dove Valley Vision, but her actual job was serving as a mother and grandmother. Judy spent countless hours cooking, cleaning, and taking care of her kids and grandkids (primarily on football, baseball and soccer fields, pools, golf courses and at other sporting events). Judy had a fantastic sense of humor and always provided a great punchline. She was a true mensch. She was very supportive of her friends and family and a warm influence on many lives. For fun, Judy loved to cook, smoke cigarettes, pull one arm bandits and take naps with her dogs. Most of all, Judy loved to spend time with her daughter Kelley shopping and kibitzing about politics and other current events.
Judy is survived by her son David Littman (Jennifer) and daughter Kelley Harris (Andrew), grandchildren Cecilee Barnes (Colton), Tate Littman, Mason Harris and Reese Littman, and great grandchildren Hattie and Birdie Barnes.
Services for Judy were held at Rose Hill Cemetery on November 19, 2024. Please leave memories and/or condolences for Judy's family in the Guestbook below.
