A Letter to Mom From Your Seven Children: Dearest Mom, Take comfort in knowing that you are genuinely loved by so, so many and will be dearly missed! You were and will continue to be our rock and our anchor. As you were getting ready to pass, you wanted to make sure your kids and grandkids were going to be okay. Mom, because you are our Mom and Grandma, we will be more than okay. The amazing quality about you Mom is that you didn't let on how truly special you are ... you are the most selfless and genuine person we know and each day we learned to appreciate you more for all your remarkable qualities. You never ceased to amaze us with your memory and the fact that you remembered so much about your childhood; our childhood and our adult lives. You taught us how to love and the importance of loyalty to family. You, your Mom, and your sister Kay had such a loving, fun and extremely special relationship. We always admired the extraordinary bond the three of you shared. Dad treated you with the utmost respect which is why all of your sons treat you with the respect you deserve yet never commanded. You never let on when times were tough, and raising seven kids, we know you and Dad faced plenty of challenges. People often refer to you as the strongest person they know. All of your kids feel and felt this each and every day. You have and will continue to give us the strength and courage to lead our lives hopefully as gracefully as you led yours. Mom, you will always be the matriarch of our family. You have been the physical, emotional and spiritual support for us seven kids and Dad. Day in and day out, you put others' needs before your own; you were so happy and always had a smile on your face. You led your life this way without ever expressing sacrifice on your part. We know you sacrificed a lot for us and we are eternally grateful! Your strong and loving upbringing made you the amazing mother and person that you are and each of us hopes and prays that we have and will continue to learn from you. We promise to keep giving to our kids all that you shared and taught us! And Mom, we promise to take care of each other now and forever. Many, including us, call you a Saint and now that you are in Heaven, you are Saint Judy. We love you so very much Mom and thank you for the extraordinary gifts you have given us!
