Judith Arlene Willner, 75, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away July 14, 2021 from congestive heart failure. She was born May 13, 1946, in Grand Island, Nebraska to Margie and Jack Fogland.
She is survived by her children, Kristine, Craig, Jason, Steven, Courtney, and Alex; and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Neesa, Drisana, Jackson, Allison, Peyton, Tatum, Stella, Max, and Wes.
Judi was known for her fun-loving nature, quippy commentary, and for her inspiring resilience in difficult times. She dedicated her life to her family and was both an incredible confidante and cheerleader, always supporting her children and grandchildren in all that they did. Judi had a giving heart and a traveler’s spirit; when she wasn’t living through the grand adventures in her books, she lived them—her wanderlust took her every- where from New Orleans to Kuwait to Egypt. During her travels, she worked in various schools and daycares, and was always popular with her students, who were drawn to her bold and cheery disposition. She was a voracious reader, a charismatic storyteller, and a history aficionado. She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
