Judy Mollison

Judy Rose Mollison, 66, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away peacefully at home on May 8, 2021.  Judy was born on July 3, 1954, in Huntsville, AL.  She grew up in Homewood, Illinois where she met her future husband while attending Homewood-Flossmoor High School (class of 1972).  After marriage, she and her husband decided to settle in Pueblo, Colorado to start their family.  Several years later, the family moved to Lakewood, Colorado where she lived for over 36 years.

Judy is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 48 years, Richard “Rick” Mollison, her daughters Jody Bennett (JJ), Mary Hacker (Daron), and her six beloved grandchildren: Liam, Hayes, Danika, Sophie, Juna and Oliver.  She is also survived by her brothers: Randall Cothren (Debbie), Gary Cothren, Scott Cothren (Julie) and Jed Cothren, along with her many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Earl and Alice Gay Cothren, and her nephew, Michael Cothren.

Memorial Service Saturday, May 22, 2021, 11:00 am, Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227. Reception to follow service.
