She worked at Mountain Bell Telephone Company for many years and also as a Teacher's Aide at Molholm Elementary School. After getting married, she became a housewife who enjoyed motherhood and caring for her family and others. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. After living with her daughter for three months, she became a resident at the Eaton House in Lakewood and when it became apparent that she needed more care, she moved to Clear Creek Care Center in Westminster. She enjoyed listening to the musicians who performed at Clear Creek, playing Bingo and several other activities that were provided.
