Judy Kay Wendling

Judy Kay Wendling will be fondly remembered for her deep appreciation of music. She loved to sing, and she loved to dance. She had a faithful and purposeful soul that praised the Lord, and it also drove her to learn new things. She loved to read, and she even taught herself how to be a seamstress; as well as a pastry chef. Furthermore, she was the matriarch of her family. She expressed her unique and deep love for her family through cooking. Judy passed away peacefully at her home in Lakewood on March 2, 2018 with her beloved Lawrence at her side. Judy leaves behind her husband, Lawrence Wendling; three children, Paula Wendling, Clark (Shawn Ann) Wendling, and Laura (Wesley) Trimble. Judy has four grandchildren - Jacob, Daisy, Elijah, and Camille. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Annie Belle Grigsby. Her Funeral will be held on Friday, March 9th, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Horan & McConaty Wadsworth Chapel. The address is 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. Her final resting place will be at the Golden Cemetery in Golden Colorado.
